Research Scholar

Edward obtained his PhD in Public Health at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. He is a Social Science and Public Health researcher with much passion for maternal and newborn health, sexual and reproductive health, female genital cutting and violence against women. Edward employs quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. He has authored over 90 peer-reviewed articles featuring in top-tier journals including BMJ Global Health, BMJ Open, PLoS One and BMC Public Health. He is an Associate Editor for BMC Public Health and BMC Women’s Health and also serves as a mentor to the West African Institute of Public Health.
