Isaac Agbemafle is a Lecturer in Human and Biochemical Nutrition at the School of Public Health, University of Health and Allied Sciences. He obtained his PhD in Human Nutrition and Statistics from Iowa State University, Ames, USA. He also holds a certificate in International and Community Nutrition from the University of California, Davis, USA. He obtained his MPhil. in Nutritional Sciences and BSc. Biochemistry and Nutrition from the University of Ghana, Legon. Isaac’s research work focuses on the use of nutritious underutilized foods for improving maternal and child nutrition or health. He also has expertise in statistical modelling and evaluating agriculture-nutrition linkages as well as nutrition-specific interventions.

Ernest Darkwah obtained his PhD in Health Promotion from the University of Bergen, in Norway. He is a Fellow of the Partnership for Africa’s Next Generation of Academics (PANGeA) programme and the 2018 winner of the Delegates’ Choice Poster Prize, Division of Occupational Psychology, British Psychological Society, UK. He is a Lecturer at the Department of Psychology University of Ghana and a mentor at the Pan African Doctoral Academy. His research interests are in Public health and Health Promotion, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Occupational and Health Psychology.

Viola Karungi obtained her PhD  at University of New South Wales, Australia and currently a lecturer at Makerere University, Uganda. Her research focuses on the interdisciplinarity between performance and war looking at the causes, nature and impact of war and conflicts. She has particularly researched on how performance represents and debates trauma and memory resulting from war. She holds a Master of Arts degree in International Performance Research from the University of Warwick, UK, a Master of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary, Multidisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Studies from the University of Arts in Belgrade, Serbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from Makerere University She looks forward to research collaboration in humanities and social sciences.

Pascal Agbadi has an interdisciplinary education background in social sciences and public health. He obtained his PhD at the Lingnan University, Hong Kong. He is a highly analytical and process-oriented data analyst with in-depth insights in performing statistical analyses in SPSS, R, Python, and SAS. He has a very good understanding of and experience in qualitative research. He has proven skills in delivering on project goals, with the ability to identify suitable techniques in the collection and analysis of data. He co-authored articles on maternal, child, adolescent, adult health, and HIV and other infectious diseases in multiple countries of sub-Saharan Africa.

Precious is a Lecturer in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Human and Health Sciences, University of Huddersfield, UK. He pursued a Master of Public Health (Distinction) at the University of Aberdeen, UK on fully funded Commonwealth Scholarship. He holds Bachelor of Science in Nursing (First Class Honours) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and a Diploma in Education from the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. He’s a nurse and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Councils of Ghana and the UK. His research interests include Non-communicable diseases, Maternal and Child Health, Public Health Nutrition.

Henry Ofori Duah is currently a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at the FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital-Ghana, where he is involved in patient outcomes research. He obtained his PhD at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing in USA. He has also been engaged in a series of public health research involving secondary data analysis. He has worked on a variety of topics ranging from Child Health to Geriatric Health. Henry holds a BSc degree in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Public Health (MPH-Epidemiology) degree, all from the University of Ghana. He is enthused about quantitative research. Associate Research Scholar

Nutifafa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, minoring Philosophy and Classics and a Master of Philosophy degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ghana. He is a PhD student reading Psychology, with specialization in Developmental Psychology at Arizona State University. He uses longitudinal methods and lifespan theories to study development and understand the impact of psychosocial factors on resilience and wellbeing of adults in low-and middle-income countries. He previously managed research projects as a research manager at the Center for Learning and Childhood Development-Ghana (CLCD-GH). Over the past 6 years, he has used his skills to promote child and caregiver well-being, write and publish research using primary and existing data, teach and mentor students, and worked in bridging the wide mental health treatment gap in Ghana. Nutifafa’s career goal is to expand his impact as a professor in a reputable university and shape local and global health policies with his research. In his spare time, he enjoys watching TV shows, listening to music, hiking and spending quality time with friends and family.

Wendy Kwakye Amoako is a PhD student in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Alberta. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Sociology from the University of Ghana and a Master of Arts in Linguistics from the University of British Columbia. Wendy’s area of research interests include Akan linguistics, child phonology, child language acquisition and speech disorders. She is currently working on developing a culturally appropriate tool for clinical assessment of child phonology in Akan.

Rebecca Dordunu is an MPhil student at the University of Ghana. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Rebecca’s area of research interests include disability and rehabilitation, maternal and child health. She is currently working on experiences of persons with lower limb prosthesis in a selected Orthopedic Training Center.

Mathew Kofi-Ackah Erzoah is a leading member of the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Department at the head office of the Ghana Tourism Authority. He has been part of different donor-sponsored research projects ranging from household demographics, health intervention outcomes, and water and sanitation. Mathew holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Statistics from the University of Ghana, a Post-graduate Diploma certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. His research interests include modelling financial and economic data, tourism development, and analysis of big data.

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (English Language and Religion & Human Values) degree from the University of Cape Coast. He also obtained an Mphil (English Language) from the same university. His areas of interest include academic discourse, critical discourse analysis, systemic functional linguistics, and sociolinguistics. With his strong background in research, he has undertaken independent researches and also collaborated with researchers in English language studies as well as public health, all of which have produced peer-reviewed articles in reputable journals.

Anna Monney Hammond is currently a Principal Technologist at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ghana. Anna’s areas of research include water quality, engineering of novel materials for sustainable water treatment, and climate change. Anna serves as the Project Administrator for the RECIRCULATE: Driving eco-innovation in Africa, a project being implemented by Lancaster University, UK, CSIR Ghana and other partners. Anna is enthusiastic about creating green economy and looks forward to collaborating with other researchers both locally and internationally. Anna is a member of Organization for Women in Science in Developing Countries and a volunteer for Chemist without borders.
