Patience Ajoff-Foster, PhD, CDE®, currently serves as a student success advisor at Northwest Vista College. A longtime higher education professional, Patience previously held leadership roles in inclusive culture and organizational transformation, faculty development, and academic affairs. She has worked with community-based and non-profit organizations in the U.S. and in Africa. Her service-based work has been in a variety of capacities, including program development and evaluation, leadership development and training, change management, and consulting. With a strong commitment to social justice, Patience specializes in nonprofit leadership, organizational development, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Patience is fluent in five languages and has worked with community-based and non-profit organizations in local communities in the U.S. and Africa in a consultative capacity and leadership development. A DEI scholar-practitioner, Patience employs systems approach to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. She has published and speaks nationally on these topics, as well as delivered related training to thousands of individuals across multiple sectors.

Patience earned her Bachelor of Science in Social and Behavioral Science from Knoxville College, Master of Science in Nonprofit/NGO Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, graduate certificate in Student Development and Affairs from Drexel University, and PhD in Organizational Development from Cabrini University.
